hua qiangu (played by zhao liying) was once rescued by changliu shangxian baizihua (played by huo jianhua), so she secretly promised that when she grew up, she traveled thousands of miles to changliu xianshan to find her benefactor. after many tests and competitions, hua qiangu finally became bai zihua's disciple. however, what she didn't know was that her fate was strange and destined to be bai zihua's life and death disaster. hua qiangu and bai zihua had already developed feelings beyond their master and disciple during the process of getting along. the fallen immortal xia zixun (played by jiang xin) also loves bai zihua deeply. she doesn't want to see her lover die for hua qiangu for vain. she tries to poison hua qiangu, but she doesn't expect that bai zihua will be poisoned in the end. in order to save bai zihua's life, hua qiangu tried every means and accidentally gained the power of the prehistoric world, laying the foundation for future tragedies
